A support and skill development community for Neurodivergent Young People (including ADHD and Autism presentations)

This program is designed for separate age groups outlined below:

Neurokin Society Juniors:

High School Years 7-9. Tuesdays 11th March - 27th May (break for school holidays). 4:30pm - 6pm

Terms 1-2 in 2025

Neurokin Society Seniors:

High School Years 10-12. Thursdays 13th March - 8th May (break for school holidays). 4:30pm - 6pm

Little Kin:

Primary School Years 4-6. Tuesdays 26th August - 11th November (break for school holidays). 4:30pm - 6pm

Terms 3-4 in 2025

Neurokin Society Young adults:

School leavers - mid 20’s in tertiary education. Thursdays 28th August - 13th November (with 2 week break). 2pm - 3:30pm

About the program:

The Neurokin groups are neuroaffirming, comfortable and engaging spaces designed to create a sense of community and develop helpful skills. These 10 session groups provide skill development across a range of areas outlined below (program topics vary across different age groups):

  • Task and time management

  • Learning about Neurodiversity, ADHD and Autism

  • Neuroaffirming lifestyle and self care (food, movement, personal care, social, sleep)

  • Neuroaffirming guide to study skills

  • Neuroaffirming organisation skills

  • Stigma, Self concept and advocating for ourselves

  • Emotional regulation skills

  • Discussion of ongoing care

  • Procrastination and perfectionism

2025 fees:

Total fee for the 10 week, (15 hour) program is $980 ($98 per 1.5 hour session)

This includes program facilitation by two psychologists and oversight by our clinical director, intake interview, program booklets and material, administrative fees and all program activities.

With Medicare rebate of $238 = $ 742 gap fee ($74 per 1.5hr session)

With NDIS psychology funding = NO FEE. Your fee would be covered by your funding.
