(these are subject to change with updates in materials and depending on appropriateness for client’s presentation)

For Children and Teens:

  • ASRS (Autism Spectrum Rating Scales): Measures autism-related behaviors in social, communication, and behavioral domains.

  • ABAS-3 (Adaptive Behavior Assessment System, 3rd Edition): Evaluates daily living skills and adaptive functioning.

  • CEFI (Comprehensive Executive Function Inventory): Assesses executive functioning skills like attention, impulse control, and problem-solving.

  • MIGDAS (Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum): A structured interview that explores autism traits through a sensory-based lens. This includes a parent interview, child interview/observation and a teacher form.

For Adults:

  • SRS (Social Responsiveness Scale): Measures social difficulties and autism-related traits.

  • ABAS-3 (Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System, 3rd Edition): Assesses independent living and adaptive skills.

  • CAT-Q (Camouflaging Autistic Traits Questionnaire): Evaluates masking and social camouflaging behaviors in autism.

  • RAADS-R (Ritvo Autism Asperger Diagnostic Scale – Revised): A self report scale that identifies a range of autism traits in adults.

  • MIGDAS (Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum): A conversational, sensory-based approach to autism assessment.

The MIGDAS is a specialized assessment tool tailored to evaluate developmental and adaptive skills in the context of autism. This instrument goes beyond traditional assessments, focusing on the distinctive challenges and strengths associated with autism across various domains.

Developmental Domains: The MIGDAS assesses a range of developmental domains, including communication, social interaction, play skills, motor skills, and adaptive behaviour. This multidimensional approach provides a holistic understanding of an individual’s strengths and challenges in the context of autism.

Tailored for Autism: This assessment is specifically designed to capture the unique characteristics of autism. It recognizes the diverse ways in which abilities and challenges may be demonstrated.

Objective Measurement: The assessment yields objective and standardized measurements, allowing for accurate and reliable evaluation of developmental and adaptive skills associated with autism.

Informed Interventions: Results from the MIGDAS guide the development of targeted interventions and support strategies. This ensures that interventions are tailored to the individual’s specific profile and address areas of need effectively.

During the feedback session, valuable insights into your Autism traits and diagnostic outcomes are provided. You’ll gain knowledge about Autism, explore support options, and consider alternative diagnoses for further investigation.

A detailed Diagnostic Report is then provided, summarizing the assessment results and offering tailored recommendations. This report can be shared with your psychiatrist, pediatrician, or GP, proving beneficial in securing support within educational institutions, universities, or workplaces.
